This work was featured in Grafik a while back. I am making pattern from type (bus timetable) so i used the idea of filling in the letters with shapes to create a pattern,like the work shown above that was done for an architecture firm. I am experimenting with making pattern in lots of different ways, but i think this is the most successful image i have so far. Because the bus timetable runs crossways and has gaps it makes a continuos pattern across with gaps in between, when i mock these up on the computer i can experiment with the placing between each set of dots, using a mathematical grid.
